Iran, Afghanistan discuss Afghan peace process, bilateral ties

TEHRAN, Jun. 03 (MNA) – Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Bahador Aminian and Head of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah discussed ceasefire, peace, and dialogue among Afghans at the venue of Sepidar Palace, Kabul, on Wednesday.

The two sides also conferred on the peace efforts in Afghanistan and other issues of mutual concerns including prisoners’ swap between the two countries.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a telephone conversation with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani emphasized the need for cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
